On March 24 early afternoon, my friend's son Ezra, was out for a day of exploring with us when tragedy struck. As we were crossing the street, a pickup truck hit Ezra and ran him over, then left the scene. The shock and fear in that moment were overwhelming, and Ezra’s family is now facing a traumatic situation that has turned their world upside down.

Ezra’s recovery is going to take time, and his mom is doing everything she can to be by his side. Ezra will need surgery on his left arm due to several broken bones. Bills and daily expenses are piling up, and it’s hard for her to focus on anything but caring for Ezra. That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser—to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on what matters most: Ezra’s healing and well-being.
