As many of you know, my oldest son (Ezra) is an outstanding student who is deeply dedicated to becoming an astrophysicist or working in the field of space in some capacity. He can tell you many MANY things on the topic that I’ve yet to even learn in my college level courses at Mizzou. We’re not talking community college intro classes here. Yes, he IS that smart and I am so very proud of that. He loves carrying around his textbooks to read every second of the day. He watches and WORSHIPS Neil Degrassi Tyson to the point that I believe he can reiterate every word he’s ever said.

As his mother, I am inspired by his passion every day and want to give him opportunities to continue his growth. This coming summer (summer of 2026) we intend to send him to space camp in Huntsville, AL. We’re trying to get sponsorships or scholarships, but they don’t give out many. We’re looking to raise $2600 to travel there, cover camp and a hotel for a week so I can be present for his needs. He is diagnosed high functioning autistic and will be fine sleeping in a new place but may become overwhelmed. This will mean I need to be near the camp in case he starts to spiral.

I can provide references for this cause that can vouch for my validity and I will be posting/updating those who donate on how the money is being spent. Any money that might be left over will be saved for him to use at camp, put towards robotics camp in the future or to purchase new textbooks. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read and share.
