Our daughter Ezra has been a fighter her whole life. Thirteen years ago, she received a liver transplant, and since then, she has dedicated herself to helping others as a LCSW Case Manager. Ezra worked tirelessly to ensure that incapacitated people received the long-term care and quality of life services they deserved. She lived by the words of Proverbs 3:27: 'Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.'
Recently, Ezra's transplanted liver went into chronic rejection. While in the hospital, she developed a bacterial infection in her blood and pneumonia, adding to the many complications she was already facing. Just days ago, we received the devastating news that she has developed brain hemorrhaging, and doctors have told us that she may only have a short time left with us. Our hearts are broken as we try to prepare for what comes next.
We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help with Ezra's final burial expenses, including a casket and funeral costs. Your support will allow us to give her the proper burial she deserves and honor the legacy of kindness and service she leaves behind. We are deeply grateful for any help God puts in your heart to give during this incredibly difficult time.
