Ezekiel Mercado is my brave 8-year-old stepson, and our family is facing one of the toughest challenges we could imagine. It all started when Ezekiel began having severe migraines. At first, doctors misdiagnosed his symptoms, but as things got worse, we knew something more serious was happening. After pushing for more tests, we received the devastating news that Ezekiel has a 6cm tumor wrapped around his spinal cord and into his nerve system. Now, he is preparing to start a 7-week course of radiation to fight this aggressive cancer.

This journey has turned our world upside down. The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming, as we do everything we can to support Ezekiel through his treatment. The funds raised here will help us cover travel and daily expenses while Ezekiel undergoes radiation, allowing us to focus on his care and well-being without the added stress of mounting costs.
