Support Extended Mental Health Care for Our Teenager

After experiencing significant trauma, our teen daughter is now in intensive mental health treatment. She is doing the brave, painful work of healing—processing what she’s been through, rebuilding her sense of safety, and learning to trust herself again.

Unfortunately, her recovery is being limited by insurance. We’ve been told that coverage will likely end after just 8 weeks, even if her treatment team believes she still needs more time. Once that coverage ends, we’ll be responsible for the full private-pay cost—$725 per day, or just over $5,000 per week.

We cannot afford even a single extra day at that rate. And yet, pulling her out of treatment too soon could undo the progress she’s fighting so hard to make.

We’re doing everything we can to protect her future, and now we’re asking for help.

Our goal is to raise $42,000, which will cover the cost of 8 additional weeks of treatment.
