On October 21, Hurricane Melissa—a powerful Category 5 storm—struck Evon Roye’s community in Jamica. Their home was destroyed, precious belongings lost or destroyed, and all the comforts and security we often take for granted have vanished overnight.

Evon and her loved ones are now facing massive rebuilding, recovery, and healing. They need help covering:

• Temporary housing or shelter while repairs are made

• Roofing, structural repairs, and replacement of damaged materials

• Furniture, clothing, school supplies and basic household items

• Food, water, power restoration and other essential living-costs while things get back on track

Evon has always given to others and checked on those around her—now, in this moment when she needs our support, we can come together. By donating whatever you can offer and sharing this campaign far and wide, you’ll be helping restore hope, stability and dignity to a family that has lost so much through no fault of their own.

Every dollar helps. Your prayers, your shares, and your support mean more than words can say. Let’s lift Evon and her family up so they can rebuild, recover and emerge from this disaster even stronger.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – for your compassion, your kindness and your generosity
