My sister Evita is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She is currently seeking treatment for a rare autoimmune disorder that doctors have not yet been able to diagnose. This mysterious illness has taken a heavy toll on her, affecting her equilibrium and vision, and making everyday tasks incredibly challenging. Despite her strength and determination, the journey has been made even harder by the fact that her insurance will not cover the custodial care she needs at the rehabilitation center, leaving us to cover the overwhelming out-of-pocket expenses ourselves. Evita needs specialized rehabilitation center housing, as well as physical and occupational therapy, to give her the best chance at recovery. The costs are staggering, and without insurance covering the custodial care needed at this time, it's simply more than our family can manage alone. These therapies are essential for helping her regain her balance and vision, and for giving her hope that she can return to a more normal life. Every day, we see how much she wants to get better, and we are doing everything we can to support her. We are reaching out to our community for help during this incredibly difficult time. We are in need of assistance badly due to the insurance not being able to cover what she needs. We need the prayer warriors as well to help through this trying time.
