My name is Eve Whitear. I’m 16 years old and I have recently qualified to represent Australia in the World Field Archery Championships in Yankton, SD, USA in September 2026. I’ll be shooting in the U/21 compound division. This will be the third time representing my country. Previous tournaments include:

World Archery Youth Championships in Winnipeg, Canada. August 2025

Trans Tasman Challenge in Christchurch, New Zealand. September 2025 where I won gold and helped Australia bring home the TT trophy.

All of these international events are self funded and each one costs between $3000-$6000 to attend. This amount covers airfares, registration fees, accommodation, meals, transport and spare/back up equipment. I am seeking your support to help cover some of the costs of these events.

I have been competing in Archery for about 4 years and have represented NSW at the National Youth Archery Championships three times securing 4 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medal over that time. This has been the result of hard work, dedication and a love for the sport.

Travelling to international events is an amazing opportunity to gain valuable experience and allow me to grow as an elite athlete. I am very proud and excited to represent my country.
