Help Everly Fight Leukemia
Our family is going through something we never imagined.
On Sunday, my brother called me with concern about his little girl, Everly Schnell. She had strange black spots inside her mouth, something that didn’t seem normal. They took her to the doctor immediately, hoping it was something minor.
Instead, their world turned upside down.
After doctors examined her, Everly was rushed to the hospital and airlifted by helicopter to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. What started as a frightening day quickly became every parent’s worst nightmare.
After testing, Everly was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Everly is only 2 years old.
Instead of spending her days playing, laughing, and exploring the world like any toddler should, she is now beginning a long and difficult battle against cancer.
Her treatment will include intensive chemotherapy, requiring frequent hospital admissions and outpatient clinic visits. Doctors expect her treatment journey to last approximately 30 months.
No parent is ever prepared to hear the words that their child has cancer. My brother and his wife are completely heartbroken, and our entire family is devastated watching sweet Everly face something so heavy at such a young age.
Right now, their focus needs to be on being by Everly’s side every step of the way. Between hospital stays, medical care, travel, time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that come with a diagnosis like this, the financial burden quickly becomes overwhelming.
We are asking for help to support Everly and her parents during this incredibly difficult time.
Every donation, prayer, and share means more than we can express. Your kindness will help relieve some of the financial stress so that Everly’s parents can focus on what matters most: helping their little girl fight and heal.
Everly is strong. She is loved beyond words. And she has a long fight ahead.
Thank you for standing with Everly and our family during this unimaginable time.
