On behalf of the Hansen family, I’m hoping to raise money once again for Everett and his ongoing needs. After learning the devastating news that Everett’s cancer has grown and spread this January, there is more urgency in the care needed.

Everyone had just settled into a rhythm with a clinical trial in hopes of longer-term treatment and care and are suddenly having to shift the focus from the future to the immediate.

After consultation with Everett’s care team, they are moving their family trip to Mexico up a week to take advantage of Everett’s current energy levels. When they return, Everett will begin another round of radiation to help strengthen his fight against growing symptoms. The treatments are focused on quality of life and will not be curative.

In full transparency, this is the second round of GoFundMe for the Hansen family. Thanks to the first round of fundraising, the Hansen family was able to make unforgettable memories together. This new round of funding will continue this work creating meaningful memories while helping cover an even broader range of unexpected medical, care-related, and other unforeseen expenses.
