Support Everett’s Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
On Wednesday night, everything changed for our family. My 2½-year-old nephew Everett started feeling sick, and his mom, Sarah, trusted her instincts and took him to the ER. Doctors quickly discovered his platelet count had crashed and his white blood cell count was dangerously high. He was rushed by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center, and on Thanksgiving morning, while most families were gathering together, Everett’s parents heard the words no parent should ever hear: Everett has leukemia.

The diagnosis is B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), which doctors call the most treatable form of childhood leukemia, with survival rates above 90% when treated early and aggressively. Everett has already started intense chemotherapy, but he has a long road ahead—full of treatments, frequent hospital stays, and countless trips back and forth to Danville. As if this wasn’t enough, their furnace died earlier this week, leaving the family without heat just as Everett got sick. Now, both parents are completely off work to be by his side, facing not only the emotional toll but also the financial strain of lost wages, travel, and urgent home repairs.

Scottie and Sarah are incredible parents who would do anything for their kids. Right now, they need to focus 100% on Everett’s fight without worrying about bills, a broken furnace, gas for the round trips, parking, meals, or lost wages. If you’re able to give anything at all, it truly makes a difference. If you can’t donate right now, please share this page and keep Everett and his family in your prayers. Every share helps reach someone who might be able to help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Everett and his family during this difficult time. Let’s wrap our arms around Scott, Sarah, Chelsea, Lincoln, Benny, Everett, and my new nephew comingin February, and help carry them through this. #EvsArmy
