Hello, my name is Andi and I have lived in the northeast village of Long Beach by St. Mary’s for 17 years. Recently, our neighbor and friend, Evelyn, was attacked in our neighborhood. This GoFundMe is to help her secure funds to move into new, safe senior housing at the St. Mary’s Towers. Any and all support is greatly appreciated, and no amount is too little.

Evelyn Romero is 60 years old and was recently robbed and beaten in the city of Long Beach on the corner of 7th and Long Beach Blvd at 6:00 pm outside of a store. Now on the streets due to not being able to pay rent, we are raising funds for a deposit to get her in a new place before December.

Besides monetary donations, whatever you can do to help make our community in Long Beach safe for our neighbors to walk to the store, especially our elders like Evelyn Romero, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to our community, our family, and friends ❤️
