Hi everyone,
My name is Annie and I’m raising money for my cousin’s sweet dog, Evee, who recently had a sudden medical emergency. One moment she was happily playing, and the next she let out a heartbreaking scream and collapsed, unable to move like she used to. The vet believes she may have IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a spinal condition that can cause paralysis if left untreated.
Right now, Evee is on medication and strict rest. Some days she can stand for a moment, but she quickly falls over and struggles in pain once her meds wear off. With proper care, there is hope for her to walk again, but recovery requires weeks of crate rest, ongoing medication, supportive equipment (like a sling for potty breaks), supplements, and possibly further vet visits or rehab therapy.
My cousin loves Evee dearly, but the costs of her care are overwhelming on top of daily life expenses. That’s why we’re asking for help.
What Your Donations Will Go Toward:
• Prescription medications for pain and inflammation
• A supportive recovery crate setup + sling for safe potty breaks
• X-ray and/or MRI imaging
• Follow-up vet visits to monitor her progress
• If possible, rehab sessions to strengthen her back and legs
Our goal is $2,300 to cover these essential needs and give Evee the best chance at healing without surgery.
Every dollar helps, and even if you can’t donate, sharing this with others makes a huge difference. Together, we can help Evee get back on her paws and give her the quality of life she deserves.
Thank you for caring about Evee
