Support Evee's Critical Care and Recovery

Donation protected
On Thursday, May 22, 2025, our beloved dog Evee started showing signs of what we thought was a mild stomach ache. But as the day went on, her condition worsened, and we rushed to make a vet appointment.

When we arrived at our primary vet’s office, the situation took a terrifying turn — Evee began showing signs of a stroke. After an urgent exam and lab work, she was found to have extremely elevated liver enzymes and a high white blood cell count. But more concerning was her lack of responsiveness following the stroke-like episode.

Our vet urged us to transfer her immediately to the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon – Emergency and Specialty, where she could receive more intensive, round-the-clock care. They quickly took her in and confirmed our fears: Evee had suffered a stroke and was battling severe pancreatitis. She was in critical condition and unresponsive. The outlook was uncertain.

As heartbreaking as it was, my husband and I knew we had to give her a fighting chance — not only because Evee is a beloved part of our family, but because she’s also our son’s best friend. The bond they share is unbreakable. We couldn’t imagine our home without her.

Evee is now slowly starting her recovery, but it’s been incredibly hard on her physically and emotionally. She still has a long road ahead, and we’re doing everything we can to support her through it. We are grateful beyond words that she is alive — it’s a miracle we don’t take lightly.

However, the cost of the emergency care, intensive monitoring, and ongoing treatment is overwhelming. We are humbly asking for help to cover her vet bills, which have already totaled over $8,000.

Every donation — no matter the size — brings us one step closer to keeping Evee with the people who love her most. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean the world to us.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, kindness, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.

With love and gratitude,
The Marsh Family
