EVE is a short film that explores family bonds and trauma in a blend of thriller and sci-fi horror. Throughout the film, a humanoid “Skinwalker” slowly takes over and torments a suburban family.
Meet Jeannie, John, and Eve. A healthy family by all accounts. That is until John decides to leave his wife and kid for the night to go on a night walk.
Big mistake. John becomes the skinwalker's first victim, and Eve and Jeannie are faced with discovering a sinister imitation of the John they knew and loved.
There is no happy ending for the Palmer family.
My name is Noah Levine. I'm a film student at Tulane. At school, I've started the first film production club, Green Wave Films (GWF), producing four films in the process: ALETHEIA, RACE TO THE TOP, FRAT PACK, and WINDOWPAIN.
EVE is the most ambitious project I’ve tackled thus far. Anyone can make a student film. A Horror film, though-- one that's truly scary-- that's where the risk ensues. I want EVE to be truly horrifying. The kind that makes you clutch yourself in the theater. To do this, we're doing most everything practically: The skinless corpses, the skin zipping, the Skinwalker-- even our artsy void scenes where the Skinwalker watches the family's memory on an old box TV.
To do all this, we need your help. Our low-end budget is $2,628. With this, we can secure the equipment and resources we need to make this film look and feel like I dream it to be.
Donation milestone amounts will additionally earn you the following credits:
$50 - Special Thanks
$200 - Associate Producer
$500 - Executive Producer
Help me to make my dream film-- With your help, EVE will be a gut-wrenching and fresh depiction of old folklore. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
