Approximately 1 in 5 children in the UK suffers with mental health issues. Over a quarter of a million children are still waiting for mental health support.

Play is the natural form of communication for children.

Play Therapy is a way to support children to grow in self confidence and overcome everyday and complex obstacles in their lives.

Having worked with children in Play settings and schools for around 15 years, I have seen first hand the value play has on a child. The diversity of families and children I have encountered has taught me much and has let me give back to the community. I want to keep giving, and so I am starting to train to become a Play Therapist, so I can work with and support many more children, young people and their families.

The course fees are £21,000.

The student loan is £12,858.

With all my savings I am, however, still short of £2,000 ( and that's just the fees! I still need equipment, travel and something to live off).
