Dear friends and family,

My family and I are raising money for my beloved mother, Eve Gradilla, who has been ill since October of last year. Those who know Eve know her for her work as a doula and in the healing arts, providing assistance to new mothers and relief for many, which has positively impacted many people's lives. Unfortunately, due to her worsening condition and upcoming surgeries, she is unable to sustain income and needs our support.

Eve has recently been diagnosed with neuropathy, which is nerve damage that has left her unable to work. In the last three months, Eve has been in and out of the hospital for the related neuropathy and internal bleeding. The doctors have found she has a tumor on her liver and are still doing tests to determine any remaining diagnoses for her condition. In the meantime, she has undergone a colonoscopy and is awaiting another necessary surgery that is meant to ease her condition, and needs assistance with medical and living expenses to keep her afloat.

We started this fundraiser to help ease the burdens of upcoming medical costs. The funds will go towards Eve's upcoming surgery and living expenses.
