We are raising funds for our family member, Eva, as she faces idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an extremely rare terminal lung disease. Eva is currently going through the extensive evaluation process for a double lung transplant, and this has changed every part of daily life for her and her husband, Troy.
Right now, Eva and Troy are traveling weekly to Boston for appointments, testing, consultations, and procedures. Because Eva can no longer work, and Troy is frequently missing work to be by her side, the financial strain has grown heavier with each trip. Their savings have been exhausted as they try to keep up with both the medical journey in front of them and the everyday costs of living.
Donations will help with the ongoing expenses that continue week after week, including travel to and from Boston, gas, tolls, parking, frequent hotel stays, food while traveling, insurance copays, medical fees, household bills, necessities, and lost income from missed work. Predictable recurring support would make a real difference in helping Eva and Troy manage these continuing costs as appointments and treatment needs continue, and one-time donations are just as deeply appreciated.
Most of all, we are asking for help surrounding Eva with support during this incredibly difficult season. If you’re able to give, whether once or on a recurring basis, thank you. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Eva and Troy in your thoughts and prayers would also mean so much.
If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser and praying for her means just as much to us. Thank you for loving, supporting, praying for, and standing beside our family during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
