Eva is a bright and creative 14-year-old who has always loved to travel and express herself through art. In 2024, our world changed when she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Since then, Eva has faced three major surgeries, over four months of chemotherapy, and countless tests and scans. She spent three weeks in the hospital and has endured more blood tests, MRIs, X-rays, and PET scans than any child should have to experience. Throughout this journey, Eva has been homeschooled, missing out on the normal experiences of school and time with friends.
This diagnosis has deeply affected our entire family. We’ve spent months driving to and from treatments, and I haven’t been able to work at full capacity while caring for Eva and her younger sibling, Evelyn. Because of Eva’s compromised immune system, we’ve had to isolate from friends and family, cancel visits, and keep our world very small to protect her health. The emotional toll has been heavy, and Eva is now attending psychology sessions to help her cope with the isolation and stress.
We are reaching out for help with several outstanding medical bills that have become overwhelming. Your support will go directly toward covering these urgent expenses, as well as ongoing therapy and travel costs for Eva’s treatments. Our hope is to give Eva the chance to feel like a normal teenager again—creating art, traveling, and living life to the fullest. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference for our family as we continue this fight.
