My name is Eva, and I’m facing one of the toughest battles of my life: head and neck cancer. Since my diagnosis, everything has changed. I haven’t been able to work since January, and the treatments and side effects have made daily life a real struggle. Recently, I no longer have a job and have had to file for retirement disability since I ran out of sick time , retirement disability is much less than what I used to earn 1/3 and takes up to 3’months to approve . This has made it incredibly hard to keep up with both medical bills and basic living expenses.

The reality is that my doctors have given me a prognosis of six months to a year. I’m doing everything I can to fight, but the financial strain is overwhelming. I’m reaching out for help so I can focus on my health and spend meaningful time with loved ones, rather than worrying about how to pay for care or keep a roof over my head.
