Support Evan's Recovery from Lawn Mower Accident

My name is Chip Holcomb and my nephew Evan was involved in a horrible lawn mower accident with his twin brother Ethan on 5/22/2024. They are 13 years old. As Evan approached his brother Ethan, who was driving the lawn mower, he slipped and his leg went under the deck. His parents, Sue and Steve Hall, rushed him to the hospital at 7:45 pm. They did not operate until 9 am on 5/23/2024. The accident severed his femur bone from his knee and removed his knee cap. Almost all the ligaments were lost.

The surgery went as well as expected, with numerous screws to reattach his knee cap and femur bone, with very little cartilage left to attach. He is home and in good spirits, but his brother is very upset. They are worried about skin grafting. My sister and her husband are very faithful to God.
