Dear Friends,

As many of you know, my son Evan recently underwent open-heart surgery to replace his aortic valve and repair an aneurysm. While we’re incredibly grateful that the surgery was successful, as you can imagine, the medical bills are quickly adding up. On top of that, Evan had to leave his job and move in with us to undergo the surgery and recovery.

We’re reaching out to ask for your help in covering his medical expenses and additional necessary care, including dental work. Maintaining good oral hygiene is especially important for someone with a heart valve replacement, so this is a priority for his long-term health.

In addition to his recovery, Evan has decided he wants to pursue a career in nursing—an inspiring goal that we’re fully supportive of. The funds raised will help ensure he doesn’t carry the burden of medical debt and can focus on his education and future. Our hope is that this will allow him to lead a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.
