Support Evan Anderson as he battles Aplastic Anemia:

Donation protected
On September 29, 2024, Evan’s life changed forever. A seemingly normal trip to the walk in quickly turned his life upside down. Evan had noticed bruises throughout his body and alongside not feeling well, Dakota convinced him to go to the walk in. They did routine blood work and within an hour he was contacted and directed to return to the ER immediately.
His blood work showed critically low red & white blood cell counts as well as low platelets. Evan was admitted into the hospital from the ER.
Evan underwent numerous medical tests, including a bone marrow biopsy, blood and platelet transfusions, and remained in the hospital until October 4th.
His team of doctors initially feared Evan had Leukemia and referred him to a specialist in Seattle, WA.
While in Seattle, Evan underwent additional medical testing, a second bone marrow biopsy, and more transfusions.
Evan received a final diagnosis of Aplastic Anemia.

Due to Evan’s severely compromised immune system and his body’s inability to produce blood cells, Evan, his partner Dakota Dosch, and their 17 month old son Cameron have been confined to their home.

Evan will begin his bone marrow transplant process, in Seattle, on November 20th & undergo 4 days of chemotherapy starting December 11th.

On December 16th, Evan will receive a bone marrow transplant. Evan’s big brother, Hugo Jr. has been determined to be a match, and will be donating his bone marrow to his little brother. Following the transplant, Evan will be hospitalized until January 6, 2025. Evan’s doctors will continue to monitor him daily at the Fred Hutch Clinic, for 2.5 months, to ensure the bone marrow transplant was successful. Evan will hopefully return home at the end of March 2025.

We are asking for donations to help support Evan & his family, while they face this challenge.

Donations will be used to cover: Housing, cost of living, transportation to and from, and medical expenses.

We ask that if you are unable to donate, to please share this link and keep Evan and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
