Support Evan Lawrence's Long Road to Recovery

We are writing this on behalf of my brother, Evan Lawrence. A couple of days before Christmas, Evan was involved in an accident at the train yard where he works as a freight conductor. He is now paralyzed from his chest down. He has been told he will be in a rehabilitation hospital for several months. The surgeon told us the unfortunate news that he is unlikely to regain his ability to walk or use anything from his chest down. We will need to update his home and make it wheelchair-friendly. It is our hope that he will regain the ability to be somewhat independent one day, but that will require a lot of accommodations to his home. There are also a lot of expenses in the interim. This is a devastating accident for our family. We are very prideful and would never ask for help publicly, but in this case, we truly need it.
