Support Evan and Judy in Their Time of Need

Hi friends,

My name is Jeremy, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my dear friend Evan Via and his mother, Judy. Evan has been in the hospital for the past two weeks, battling a severe and life-threatening illness. This has left him unable to care for his mother, who suffers from dementia and requires 24/7 in-home assistance. There’s a strong possibility that Evan will need an organ transplant, which makes the financial burden even heavier.

To make matters worse, Evan does not have health insurance, and Medicaid offers little help. His medical expenses are rapidly mounting, and his mother’s care is an additional overwhelming cost.

Evan has given so much to the people around him, and now it’s our turn to give back.

I met Evan 22 years ago working at Jason’s Music Center. I was 18, just starting out, and Evan was the coolest, most talented musician I had ever met. He took me under his wing, taught me everything he could about recording, gear, and musicianship, and introduced me to the people who would shape my life. Evan pointed me to a singer for the first "serious" band I ever started. He inspired me to start recording and mixing at home. His passion for music and his generosity in sharing it have left an undeniable impact on me and countless others.

To this day, Evan remains one of the few people I know who truly connects with music on the deepest level. The late nights spent in his home studio, talking about music and life, will always stay with me. Now, he needs our help more than ever.
