Hi! So my name is Evan Dean. I am originally from the Houston area but was a runaway at 17, moving to Dallas due to mental and physical abuse. During this period in time, I lost a ton of weight and developed a serious case of anorexia nervosa, which further worsened about a year later when I was hospitalized over and over again for unknown pains and sickness. I was at 92 pounds. During this time, Bella and I were living in Galveston with not a ton of financial support for food, so living in a calorie deficit was a very real thing for us every day. Eventually, my grandmother begged me to stay with her, promising she would help us out and nurse us back to health. It has come to the point where I am rapidly losing weight again and I cannot work because of being in a calorie deficit. On top of that, we were just kicked out as the doors were locked on us. The reason is because my grandmother did not believe I was getting better fast enough, as her own anxiety and mental issues were taking precedence in this relationship. Regardless, we are homeless. We’re looking at getting a small low-income apartment but really need anything to get through the next few days of freezing. Usually, sleeping in the car would be a viable option but it is a very good possibility we could freeze to death. Not only that but my dog and cat.
