Support Evalina's Brave Heart Journey

Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you might already be aware, Jessica and Dez have been facing an immensely challenging journey with their beautiful daughter, Evalina Avery. Around the 18-week mark of Jessica's pregnancy, a routine checkup revealed that Evalina was diagnosed with Heterotaxy, a rare condition where the internal organs are not in their usual or typical arrangement, coupled with significant concerns regarding her heart's development. The prognosis given by their doctors was far from hopeful, casting a shadow on the bright future they envisioned with Evalina.

However, Jessica and Dez refused to accept this without exploring every possible avenue for their daughter. Their determination and love for Evalina led them to make the bold decision to relocate to be closer to Boston's Children's Hospital, renowned for its cutting-edge care and medical expertise. It's here that Evalina has been bravely fighting every day since her arrival into the world at 37 weeks on May 2nd.

Presently, Evalina is in the Cardiac ICU, showcasing her incredible resilience and fighting spirit as she prepares for upcoming heart surgeries. Her journey has been nothing short of awe-inspiring, reaffirming our belief in miracles and the power of faith. Evalina is a true heart warrior, embodying strength and courage far beyond her days.

We understand the immense financial burden that prolonged medical care can impose, especially in challenging times like these. It's well known that Dez and Jess are the last to ask for assistance, but the reality is, hospital bills and related expenses can become overwhelming. By setting up this fund, we hope to alleviate some of their financial stress, allowing them to focus entirely on Evalina's health and recovery.
