Hi everyone ,

Im reaching out during hard time for our family. My husband Casey recently lost his job, and it’s put us in a really impossible financial spot. We’re now facing the very real possibility of not being able to pay our rent for August.

Casey is actively looking for work — applying every day and doing everything he can to find something stable as quickly as possible. He’s always tried to move toward jobs with growth and security, for himself but also for our family and our kids . But it seems like every time he takes a step in the right direction, something falls apart.

I’m also doing everything I can on my end — working and hustling to bring in extra money wherever possible — but it’s just not enough on its own to cover all of our bills, especially rent. We have no savings to fall back on it’s not that we haven’t tried to build one.

We’re in the process of applying for state assistance and local aid programs, but those take time to come through. We’re even looking into what we can possibly sell just to try and make ends meet.

Anyone who knows me knows I hate asking for help like this, but we’re doing it because we don’t know what else to do right now. If you’re able to contribute anything, even a few dollars, it would go a long way in helping us just be able to make sure we are able to pay our rent.. And if you can’t donate, sharing this would still mean so much. I know we aren’t the only ones out there struggling. And I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t an emergency.
