Help Euron Through Stage 4 Head and Neck Cancer Treatment

Euron has been diagnosed with Stage 4 primary squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck that has spread to his lymph nodes.

Because of the stage and location of the cancer, his doctors have recommended an intensive course of treatment.

At the end of last month, he underwent surgery to have a chemo port and feeding tube placed in preparation for what comes next.

At the beginning of this month, he completed his first round of inpatient chemotherapy. It lasted five consecutive days, twenty-four hours per day.

After dental clearance, he will begin radiation treatment five days a week for seven weeks. During that time, chemotherapy will continue every three weeks for an additional three to four treatments.

This schedule will require daily hospital visits for weeks while managing the side effects of both radiation and chemotherapy at the same time.

If you know Euron, you know he is private and fiercely independent. He has always taken care of himself and has never been the type to ask for help. He is an exceptional chef who makes the most intricate, layered meals completely from scratch. He has dreams of building his own cooking business and writing a cookbook one day. Cooking is not just something he does. It is how he connects. It is how he shows love. It is how he takes care of the people around him.

His last day of work was December 29 after his symptoms became too severe to safely continue in a kitchen environment.

He lives alone in Richmond, California. While he has family who love him, they live hours away. Day to day, he is navigating surgery recovery, chemotherapy, and soon daily radiation largely on his own.

He currently has no income since he is no longer able to work. Maintaining stable housing during treatment is critical. Radiation will require daily hospital visits for seven weeks, and recovery from both radiation and chemotherapy can be physically overwhelming. The goal of this fundraiser is to ensure he can keep his apartment and meet basic living expenses while focusing fully on treatment and recovery.

He has state medical insurance and food assistance, but he currently has no income. Disability has been filed, but approval takes time.

His fixed monthly expenses total approximately 2500 dollars.

This fundraiser will help stabilize his housing and cover essential living expenses as he undergoes aggressive treatment and focuses on healing.

Being this public is not natural for him. Sharing treatment photos and shaving his locs after losing his hair was not easy. But the reality is that he needs stability right now so he can focus on getting through treatment.

I am organizing this on his behalf. Euron is listed as the direct beneficiary and all funds go directly to him.

If you are able to donate or share, it truly helps.

If you have ever been in a position where you needed help but struggled to ask for it, you understand how difficult this is for him. He has always taken care of himself. Right now, treatment is his full-time job. Any support helps relieve some of the financial pressure so he can focus on getting through it.
