My name is Ana Klanjac and I want to share a story that has touched my heart and reminds me that life is so precious. Back in December 2023, after many months of medical challenges, the mother of my nephews Carlos & Adrian, and my ex sister-in-law, Eunicce Sanchez was unfortunately diagnosed with a serious condition called Interstitial Lung Disease. Her condition was caused by an autoimmune disorder which attacked her lungs. For some diagnosed with ILD, the root cause is not fully understood. In early 2024, after a difficult recovery from a lung biopsy, we found out that her lungs have been severely damaged. This disease makes it hard to breathe and causes a severe dry cough, chest pain and fatigue among other things. It has made it hard for her to do so many things and live the normal life she deserves. The lung damage is irreversible and the doctors have told us she will need a double lung transplant. That was very difficult to hear for us all, including her two boys. We are waiting on news for that process and when it will begin.
Due to her condition, she is not able to work to fully support herself as she would have before. She has been an independent woman and responsible for her life and expenses, but since her diagnosis and the progression of her disease, it’s been challenging to stay on top of everything and be able to work full time. We would like to help her pay off her car and some miscellaneous bills so that she can have one less thing to worry about in the next few months as we prepare for what ever comes next.
Eunicce is a Deaf woman, who absolutely adores her two boys, and all she wants is to be on this earth as long as possible to enjoy seeing them grow and be part of their futures. They are her pride and joy. She wants to continue working as much as her body allows and live a good life with her boys. We know she has a long way to go but with our prayers and support she may be able to do just that.
We are looking to raise $12,000 to cover her expenses.
Thank you so much for reading and in advance for any amount you may be able to contribute.
