Support Eugene's Life-Saving Treatment
Donation protected
Hi,
We are the Andrews Family.
We have several cats as we used to own a local rescue group here in Rhode Island.
Our youngest daughter has a cat named Eugene who is 4 years old and is her emotional support animal.
He was brought to the vet last week after having some problems peeing. They told us he had crystals, gave us meds, and had us change his food, which we did, and sent him home.
This week, my husband came home from work on Tuesday and found Eugene in the litter box crying and on his side. He rushed him to Veterinary Emergency Group in Warwick, RI for treatment. They said he was completely blocked and would die without immediate treatment.
They started treatment immediately by catheterizing him and giving him IV fluids.
They brought out the estimate, and there was a high and low. They charged us the high estimate onto our charge card. My husband is the only income that supports our household and is going out of work soon for major neck surgery, which means we will be living on unemployment for 3 months while he heals from surgery. We cannot afford this bill, but we had no other choice but to save Eugene. Please help us pay off this bill so that we may survive through these tough times.
