Our hearts are heavy as we share the news that Eugene Salas, beloved manager of the Habitat Design Center, recently lost his mother. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family, in Guam. Sadly, Eugene was unable to be by her side due to the distance.

For years, Eugene has been an integral part of Habitat, rising from a transitional worker to a dedicated volunteer, and finally, to the leader of our Design Center. He consistently uplifts our team, empowering both employees and volunteers, and generously shares his culinary talents and treats.

To help Eugene with the significant expense of traveling to Guam during this difficult time, we've created this fund. He will be traveling within the next few weeks so please consider supporting him on his journey home.
