Hi I am Patti Valitzski my husband is Eugene Valitzski , he is a retired master auto mechanic and in his younger days he was a paramedic helping many, he is on life support at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta Ga. he has sepsis and renal failure. He is intubated doing poorly. On 12/6 /24 he was admitted to ST. Joseph hospital with low blood counts with a known kidney stone he had since Sept.24, they put a stent in. After infections, blood transfusions and hospital visits to Kennestone Hosp. And St. Joesph Hosp. his infection cleared enough to have a stent removed and kidney surgery to remove stone. He had that at St. Joesph hospital {an Emory Hospital} He had that on Dec. 13th, 2024, and was sent home 12/19/24 he came home with Metabolic Encephalopathy and a stent. He was severely confused required feeding and total care. Kaiser provided a hospital bed and a hoyer to help along with Nursing assessment with follow up of PT , OT,ST,Cobb Cty Fire cares has followed us and has been most helpful and supportive. He received the Nursing assessment but on 12/30/24 he went into resp. distress and septic shock, I called 911.He was sent to Kennestone hospital and intubated sent to ICU where he has had many complications. The staff and Palliative Care doctors tell me he is fighting hard but sedated on vent. Not doing well. In the event {most likely} he should pass away I cannot even cremate him as we live on fixed income on SS. Live check to check. I am asking for funds for final expenses from hospital and to cremate him. Thank You. Patti Valitzski Wife of 48 years
