My name is Eudilma Solé-Kaifman.

I never imagined I’d be here—writing a public plea for help just to survive. But after years of holding on through grief and hardship, life has taken everything from me. I will resurface again, because I am strong, but I need some help to start.

In 2019, I lost my husband—the love of my life, my best friend, my anchor. We had been through everything together. I stood by him as he fought cancer twice. I thought surviving that would be the hardest thing I’d ever face.

But since his passing, life has been relentlessly difficult. I’ve tried to keep going, to stay strong, to rebuild. But now:

• My car has been repossessed.

• I’ve been served an eviction notice.

• I’ve been unemployed for two years, despite constant applications.

I’m not just trying to survive for myself—I also care for my elderly mother, who depends on me. This situation is breaking me, and I’m terrified of what happens next.

I urgently need help to:

• Secure a safe place to live, so I don’t end up homeless while still looking for work

• Cover basic transportation needs, so I can attend interviews and get essentials

• Make sure my mother and I have food and stability during this emergency
