Voice for Education-Support Ethiopian Women EdTech Founders

Dear community,

We are Bereket Getachew and Bethel Getamesay, two passionate women co-founders of EdTech startups in Ethiopia. We work every day to make education more accessible and impactful through technology. We’ve been selected to participate in the prestigious eLearning Africa Conference, the continent’s largest gathering of digital education leaders. But here’s the challenge: as young founders from Ethiopia, covering the travel, accommodation, and registration costs ourselves is simply beyond our means.

This opportunity is more than just a conference. Ethiopia’s eLearning sector is still in its early stages, and platforms like this rarely come our way. By attending, we will be able to represent Ethiopian voices, share the unique challenges and solutions we've developed, and bring back fresh ideas, connections, and opportunities that will benefit our startups and the broader education and tech community back home.

With your support, we can bridge the gap between where Ethiopia stands today and where it can be tomorrow in digital education.

We hope to raise 2.700 Eur to cover essential costs, such as flights, accommodation, conference fees, and basic expenses during our stay. No matter how small, every contribution brings us closer to making this a reality.
