Support Ethan's Recovery After a Life-Threatening Accident

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for Ethan Nichols, a beloved family member and close friend to me and many in the Davis community. On the morning of Wednesday, May 14th, Ethan was tragically struck by a van while riding his bike to class — a devastating accident that left him with a broken neck and other serious injuries. It’s truly a miracle he is able to walk.

Ethan is a graduate student at UC Davis, working toward his master’s degree in environmental policy. He’s a kind, compassionate member of the Davis community who has always been committed to making a meaningful difference in the world. He’s also putting himself through school and already carrying the heavy burden of student loans — a situation made even more difficult by this unexpected medical crisis.

We’re raising funds to help cover Ethan’s mounting medical bills and to replace school essentials that were damaged in the crash. Easing this financial burden will allow him to focus fully on healing.
