Support Ethan's Recovery After Car Accident

This past weekend, our family—my wife, our two beautiful children Ethan and Zaydi, and I—were involved in a devastating car accident. Our vehicle rolled multiple times, and in the chaos, our son Ethan was ejected from the car.

Thankful to Jehovah, we all survived. The doctors told us it’s truly incredible that Ethan is still with us today. Today, he’s undergoing surgery to repair a fractured pelvis, and we’re placing our trust in the skilled hands of his surgical team at Stanford. Despite the trauma, Ethan has shown incredible strength and spirit, and we know he’s ready to fight through this recovery journey.

The love, prayers, check-ins, and support we’ve received from friends, family, and even strangers have meant the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the calls, messages, and check-ins—it’s in these dark times that we are so grateful to be Jehovah's People and have the unfailing support from the friends.

Many of you have asked what we need or how you can help. Truthfully, the weeks leading up to the accident were already difficult. In between jobs in construction, waiting for the call is how it is for me as some of you know, and I’ve always been the one to handle our rent and bills. Now, with Ethan in the hospital, I can’t imagine being anywhere else but by his side at least for the next few weeks.

That’s why we’re humbly asking for financial help. Your support will help us stay afloat by covering our rent and utilities while we focus on Ethan’s healing and until I am ready to go back to work and continue to provide. Anything you can give—no matter how small—will help lift a huge burden from our shoulders and allow us to keep our family together and strong during this time.
