My son, Ethan Jaquess, is a hardworking 20-year-old who has been dedicated to his job at Olive Garden for the past three years. He always takes on as many hours as possible and never misses a day. Unfortunately, on Wednesday evening, Ethan had a terrible accident at home when a pot of boiling water spilled on him. He suffered burns on nearly 20% of his body, including both hands, his thigh, left buttock, and stomach. We rushed him to Grady Hospital, and now he faces a slow and challenging recovery.
Ethan will be out of work for several weeks or more as he heals. He is deeply worried about how he will manage his financial responsibilities without an income, especially since he does not have health insurance. The medical bills and everyday expenses are quickly adding up, and the stress is overwhelming for both of us.
We are reaching out to our community for help. Any support you can offer will go directly toward Ethan’s living expenses and medical costs while he recovers. Your kindness will make a world of difference for Ethan and our family. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for keeping Ethan in your thoughts during this difficult time.
