Support Ethan's Fight for Recovery

I am setting this up for my sister since she is under a lot of stress and concentrating on her son Ethan.

At 930 this morning my son Ethan Balch woke me up telling me he couldn’t breathe. I asked him if I needed to call 911 or if we were driving ourselves like normal. He told me to call 911. I called immediately. He yelled at the dispatcher as I’m explaining things to her that he couldn’t f*cking breathe and he felt like he was gonna die. They told me the ambulance was on the way and hung up. Me and Ethan went outside so he could cool off and try to get a better handle on his breathing. He ended up trying to puke but nothing happened. He stood up straight and he started to turn blue and then he collapsed on the porch. Againin I was calling 911 back telling them that he had collapsed and he was blue and not breathing. His brother Travis Balch started cpr right away and kept going till the ambulance ppl got there and took over! He’s a real hero!! He’s the reason Ethan is still alive!!! I couldn’t be prouder of him!! They finally got him to Sauk hospital where they finally decided they were going to med flight him but due to the rain med flight was not running. So we had to wait for Baraboo ambulance to get there and supposedly a bed to be open to take him to uw hospital in Madison. He got down to the uw hospital and they immediately took him to icu. We got down there and they took us to the family waiting room. The dr and nurse finally came in and told us that before Ethan got to the hospital that he has not been breathing or had a pulse for 30 mins. Right now we are playing a waiting game. They won’t know anything major like brain bleed or swelling or brain damage for at least 72 hours. The reason for all this was his asthma and he had a bad asthma attack and went into cardiac arrest, but we found out from uw that he also has Rhino Virus, RSV streptococcal pneumonia and apparently had, had it for a couple months and Sauk hospital NEVER ONCE looked for it. I asked them the last time we were there for his asthma if he had pneumonia and they told me NO!!! But yet he did!!! They even gave him narcan thinking he had OD and guess what he didn’t and it did NOTHING for him. Just proves cops apparently think everyone who had breathing issues (even asthma) apparently are doing drugs! And he does not do any!!

Now my son is in a medically induced coma as they have him paralyzed so his body can rest and and get better. His ph level is slowly going up and that’s a good thing. Everything is going in the right direction but it’s going so slow. I wish it was going faster than what it is. I just want him home with all of us.

Please continue to pray for my son and I will update again when I have more information and my brain is working the way it’s supposed to cuz right now my brain is not. I’m broken and just keep breaking down. My eyes burn so much and all I can do is cry.

Tonight I am sleeping with his seal he got from his girlfriend Jess. I won’t be letting it go until he is home. And I doubt that I will be sleeping or eating much at all until he’s home.

Please god don’t take my baby. Please heal him and let him come home. Don’t take my baby. Please just don’t take my baby.

Ethan I love you so much! You are a fighter and you are strong you got this and you will be fine and pull through this and you will come out stronger and walking away from this and making jokes with all of us in no time. I love you lil big man!!

Please everyone just pray for him!!!

Please help my family and and help my nephew. All donations are going towards medical bills, gas to go from home to Madison to get to Ethan and financial bills.

UPDATE:
Ethan has been taken off the sedation. Please prey he wakes up.
