Support Ethan’s 3rd Heart Surgery

Hi, my name is Natalie McDowell and I’m fundraising for Ethan Reimer’s 3rd Heart Surgery in Vancouver. Ethan is the child to Megan & Justin Reimer, and big brother to Reid Reimer. Ethan was born with a rare heart condition called, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He has been in and out of Vancouver children’s hospital since the day he was born. Ethan and his family live 9 hours away from Vancouver so every surgery and procedure Ethan needs, means time off of work and money spent living in Vancouver for weeks. The family just arrived in Vancouver to find out they had to cancel Ethan’s surgery because the hospital is overloaded. This means they are playing a waiting game in Vancouver. Justin will need to take more time off of work and the family will be staying in Vancouver until Ethan gets the surgery his heart needs to function. My hope for this fund raiser is to help The Reimers with the cost of travel, stay and food. I want them to see that there is a whole community behind them during these stressful times. This family deserves all the support we can give them. They are kind, thoughtful and giving, it’s time for them to receive some love and support from us.
