Support Ethan and Helen put their baby girl to rest

This ultrasound is my granddaughter and my son and his wife Helen’s baby girl. Ethan and Helen, found out they were expecting and we were getting so excited to welcome their first baby, a little girl.

Helen was high risk as the baby girl's heart was in the 7th percentile. They kept a close eye on her and began to pray daily for help with the precious baby.

Things seemed to have turned around when her heart was suddenly in the 21st percentile and we could all breathe... for a time.

Helen went in for a routine high-risk appointment when they couldn't find the baby's heartbeat. They tried 3 different dopplers to no avail. Finally, they did an ultrasound to check and found that their precious baby girl had passed.

They are just kids still and still figuring out married life with the normal newlywed struggles of housing and bills and all of the life and adult things. No one should EVER be forced to go through this, let alone two of the kindest young parents. It’s unfair, unnatural and gut wrenching.

Helen was almost 8 months, and so the baby is almost full-term size, so she will have to give birth, and these very young newlyweds have to navigate through the death of their first child and figure out arrangements for her.

Like everyone right now, they live paycheck to paycheck and have no extra money for anything outside of bills.

They need to take some time off to have the baby and get through the next couple of weeks as they navigate their new normal. They will be missing pay and could really use any help they can get. Every prayer, thought, or penny is so appreciated as they try to bring their first child into this world and lay her to rest.
