Support for One of Our Own

Our wrestling family is heartbroken to share that Ethan "Gumball" Gumabong, a senior at Eaton High School (started at this school this week and previously attended Keller Central) and a dedicated member of Spartan Mat Club, recently lost his mother. This sudden loss has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on him.

We are coming together as a community to support Ethan during this difficult time. Funds raised will go directly toward helping him finish his senior year and transition to college. Currently, Ethan will have to pay for his wrestling training, tournament fees and travels costs. He is registered to compete at Preseason Nationals in Iowa later this month and would like to be able to continue to compete through the school year.

Wrestling is more than a sport and Spartan Mat Club is a family. We are so extremely proud of our wrestling community and that Ethan attended practice all this week to be around his extended wrestling family.
