Help Rebuild Hanover, Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

Our beloved parish of Hanover, Jamaica has been devastated by the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Melissa. In just a few hours, the storm swept through our communities—destroying homes, taking lives, and leaving countless families with nowhere to turn. What was once a place full of laughter, unity, and life has now been reduced to rubble and heartbreak.

Many of our friends and neighbors are now homeless, struggling to find food, shelter, and a way to start over. Yet, even in the face of such unimaginable loss, our faith remains strong. We believe that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains—and together, we can begin to rebuild.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the Esher Community Center in Hanover, which is working tirelessly to provide shelter, food, and essential supplies to those most in need. Funds will also help repair homes, restore community spaces, and support families as they rebuild their lives from the ground up.

We are a group of Jamaican-born U.S. sailors currently serving in the northern region of Florida. This tragedy has deeply affected us, as it has struck the very towns where we were born and raised. We are committed to standing with our people and doing everything we can to help our community recover.

Every dollar, every prayer, and every act of kindness makes a difference. Let us come together as one people—united in hope, faith, and love—to restore our parish and uplift those who have lost so much.

Be the change you hope to see—because even the smallest gift can help rebuild a life.

Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and faith..
