Get ready for an evening of laughter, heart, and theater with Esther Made Me Do It—a sparkling new play created and produced by Nell Adkins and Elizabeth Sacktor!
This play, co-produced by two young, Jewish women, with an all-Jewish creative team is coming to Off-Broadway at the Actors' Temple Theatre for one-night-only in celebration of Purim! And we need your help to make it a night to remember!
It's a heartfelt comedy about two best friends (Ruth and Naomi) as they prepare to audition for their local Purim spiel. These two theater-obsessed, opinionated teenage besties lead audiences through a complex, often humorous exploration of growing up, devotion, and the intersections of Jewish and Queer identities.
Your donation will work directly to help us cover the costs of our venue technician, hamantaschen cookies for attendees, and rehearsal space rental! All contributions will be acknowledged in the program. Contributions of $100 or more will be acknowledged as honorary producers. Businesses donating $250 or more will receive 1/2 page ad in the program.
