Hello friends! I am sharing a need on behalf of a dear friend and sister in faith in Honduras.
My name is Esthela María Alberto Suazo, and today I am asking for your help.
I am 23 years old, originally from Siguatepeque, Honduras, a Nursing Assistant, and a member of the EBEN-EZER Central American Church. I have dedicated my life to serving others, but today I find myself in a situation where I need support to continue fighting for my health and my life.
In July 2024, I was diagnosed with severe iron-deficiency anemia. Despite multiple tests and treatments, the cause was never identified. In June 2025, my condition worsened significantly, and further studies revealed severe kidney damage, with critically high levels of creatinine (kidney failure).
On June 9, 2025, I was admitted to Hospital Escuela in Tegucigalpa, where I began hemodialysis. I am currently receiving this treatment three times a week in Siguatepeque, while continuing specialized medical evaluations.
Specialists suspect Rapidly Progressive Glomerulonephritis (RPGN), a condition for which the only definitive treatment is a kidney transplant. To move forward, I must undergo numerous medical tests, continuous treatments, and specialized procedures that involve high financial costs that my family cannot cover on their own.
Today, I humbly ask for your support:

* Financial support, to help me continue my treatments, medical studies, and the process toward a possible kidney transplant.

Mi nombre es Esthela María Alberto Suazo y hoy necesito de su ayuda.
Tengo 23 años, soy originaria de Siguatepeque, Comayagua, Auxiliar de Enfermería y miembro de la Iglesia Centroamericana EBEN-EZER. He dedicado mi vida a servir a otros, pero hoy me encuentro en una situación donde necesito apoyo para seguir luchando por mi salud y mi vida.
En julio de 2024 fui diagnosticada con anemia ferropénica severa. A pesar de múltiples exámenes y tratamientos, nunca se logró identificar la causa. En junio de 2025, mi condición empeoró gravemente y los estudios revelaron un daño renal severo, con niveles críticos de insuficiencia renal (creatinina).
El 9 de junio de 2025 fui ingresada al Hospital Escuela de Tegucigalpa, donde inicié hemodiálisis. Actualmente recibo este tratamiento tres veces por semana en Siguatepeque, mientras continúo en estudios médicos especializados.
Los especialistas sospechan una Glomerulonefritis Rápidamente Progresiva (GMRP), una condición cuya única opción de tratamiento definitivo es un trasplante renal. Para ello, debo someterme a numerosos estudios médicos, tratamientos continuos y procesos especializados que representan un alto costo económico que mi familia no puede cubrir por sí sola.
