Esterphanie St. Juste is a woman of amazing strength: a driver - Uber, Lyft, and Taxi, too - and an inspiring leader, co-worker, activist, and organizer - who has helped build a drivers' organization and fight for full rights for all app-based workers in CA. She brags that she's been to "every rideshare protest since there was a rideshare protest." And we know it's true. Her work has been essential to every step forward we've made in this movement.

One of the founding members of Rideshare Drivers United, Esterphanie now finds herself in a health crisis and in need of life-saving surgery that may require eight weeks or more recovery time. As a misclassified driver, she has no backup - no unemployment, no disability, and her healthcare insurance she pays out of pocket. Eight weeks of no pay during her recovery will mean she is on the street without housing before she recovers from her health crisis.

Esterphanie has supported every one of us in this movement with her powerful voice and tireless leadership for our rights. She understands solidarity and has always been there for us - her co-workers and friends. We ask those of you who believe in our fight to support Esterphanie in this time of need.
