Esteban Vargas is a local landscaper here in SoCal along the San Gabriel Valley communities. Last week, Wednesday, he and his wife were wrapping up a job in South Pasadena when his wife witnessed two men stealing their landscape equipment from their truck. She tried to intervene and was beaten by them and dragged shortly by their vehicle before they pushed her into the street. This is some updated info that I got from their son Jose because Esteban speaks little English, but he showed me pics of his wife and showed me the new equipment he had to buy. I also get my yard done from him here in Azusa, and he is such a hard worker. I feel so bad for his family that they had to go through this.

I saw his receipt for the new equipment, and it was just shy of $1500, which I know that many of these guys are just making enough to put food on the table and clothes on their families' backs. So, I'm going to donate some money to help with his equipment costs, and anyone else who knows him or just wants to band together and bless his family, please feel free to do so.
