Support Esteban and His Newborn's Fight

Hello everyone,

We are launching this GoFundMe on behalf of our Brother in Blue, Esteban Palacios. Esteban’s fiancé (Ashley) passed away during complications with the birth of their son. Ashley was two weeks away from her full-term pregnancy. On Dec. 30th, 2024, Ashley’s pregnancy resulted in medical complications where she required an emergency C-section. Their son was born but without any response, which required their son to be airlifted to CHOC in Orange County. Currently, he in the intensive medical care unit fighting for his life.

While Esteban rushed to CHOC with his son, Ashley’s medical procedure resulted in major medical complications. During the medical procedure, Ashley sustained a stroke and unfortunately, Ashley succumbed to its effects.

Esteban, now the sole parent has been by his newborn son’s bedside in the intensive care unit. Esteban’s son requires close monitoring. Currently, the medical status of his son remains unclear. Esteban’s son is undergoing multiple medical treatments to keep him alive, and it will also require a lengthy medical recovery process.

Esteban is already having to deal with the expensive medical billing side of things, along with expensive unforeseen costs of future medical treatments. Esteban had to take time off from work to be along-side his son and requires assistance with the medical expenses. Esteban is also dealing with legal issues arising from this traumatic event, which will require additional expenses.

Esteban has always been a person who will go out of his way to help others. He is a great police officer and friend. This GoFundMe will greatly help Esteban financially cover medial costs and to help his son fight for his life. We are all grateful for any donations/prayers/sharing of this GoFundMe.
