My name is Essofa Ouro-Ladjo, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I was recently hospitalized and currently have a catheter due to complications with my kidneys not filtering toxins properly. My prostate has completely closed...I’m also battling high blood pressure and high sodium levels, which have taken a serious toll on my health and daily life. My kidneys are not filtering the bed toxins and I am only urinating the water..

With my wedding just roughly 60 days away, what should be a joyful time has turned into a period of worry and hardship. My fiancé is currently in labor has been trying to hold everything together—managing bills, preparing for our baby, and supporting me through recovery—but the financial strain has become overwhelming.
