My sister had to have an emergency cesarean section on August 12th to deliver her sweet baby girl at only 26 weeks and 1 day. When Essence was born she weighed 1 pound and 11 ounces and she will be in the NICU for a few months fighting for her life. She is doing very well considering how early she was born. They were able to remove her breathing tube and she is now using a CPAP machine, so she is definitely a little fighter! My sister has been in the hospital as well for a few days and will hopefully be released soon. No one was expecting her to give birth this early so I am creating a go fund me to help her with the unexpected expenses and hopefully help her with getting everything Essence will need while in the hospital and when she comes home. She had just started a new job when this happened and was not financially prepared to give birth this soon.
